They say a picture is worth a thousand words. They say a person can look like a million bucks. But, the April 2011 cover has created its own much deserved cliche. This month’s cover says “an instant picture can capture a lifetime of hard work.”
We captured Mark Bailey just moments after the ribbon cutting. Mark graced our cover back in 2009 when he had just begun tending to the task of leading the committee to raise the necessary funds to build the facility. With the help of many generous community individuals, businesses and organizations, the journey is now complete. What an accomplishment and what an incredible benefit this center will provide to Saint Augustine and Saint Johns county. Kudos to you Susan Ponder-Stansel, Mark and all those who helped bring this much needed vision to life.
